Richard Profit

Richard (Rick) H. Profit, Jr. has been the director and a board member of PAACT for seven years. Rick is the stepson of Lloyd Ney, PAACT’s founder and the son of Janet Ney, Lloyd’s widow and PAACT president.

Molly Meyers

Molly Meyers is 40 years old, single and owns her own home. Her children are her pets; a 3 pound Yorkshire terrier named Peanut, and a 14 pound cat named Miss Kitty. Her hobbies are reading, cross-stitch, jigsaw puzzles, crossword and logic puzzles, and crochet. She has lived in Jenison, Michigan a suburb of Grand Rapids, Michigan for over 14 years now. She grew up in Bellaire on Intermediate Lake, a small town in Northern Michigan.

Janet Ney

Janet was the wife of Lloyd Ney, founder of PAACT. She assumed the position of President and Chairperson upon Lloyd’s passing on August 19, 1998. Lloyd’s final request of Jan was to continue the work that the two of them began with PAACT. Upon his passing Jan Ney stated “PAACT will go on. We have a very capable staff with many people, including doctors, who contribute to the organization on a regular basis.”

Dr Stephen Strum put it so eloquently in his eulogy. “Lloyd was hardly for himself. Lloyd would have perished years ago if it were not for the love and caring of his wife, Jan Ney. Jan was the perfect mate for Lloyd. For every strand of DNA there is a second strand that reinforces the structure and integrity of the other strand. So it is with Lloyd and Jan. Lloyd never would have succeeded without Jan. The praises in the past and in the present to Lloyd Ney are equally bestowed upon Jan Ney. As I have told Jan many times, she is one of the angels that are easily identified on the earthly plain.”

Besides being involved in PAACT Jan’s many hobbies are reading, a passion for keeping her lawn and flower gardens beautiful, playing cards and golf.
